The City Center property in Vegas is just…outstanding. The entire vibe of the latest mega resort on the Strip continues to put me in awe everytime I find myself in Sin City.
If you ever get a chance to visit (and don’d mind shelling out the big bucks) I highly recommend staying at Aria. Everything about the hotel is well done from the scents they pump into the casino (I think there’s drugs in it btw) to the layout of the casino to the bakery in the heart of the casino floor everything is just amazing.
Glad to see that our leaders are keeping themselves honest by being transparent about their earnings to the American public.

CareerCast.com’s recent poll shed light on 200 of the best and worst jobs in the U.S. based on income, outlook and stress levels among others.
PR executive came in at #70 which isn’t too bad for my profession as it ranked at least in the upper half of the list. With a median income of $92,156, PR isn’t such a bad place to be given today’s rocky yet recovering economy. Still though, stress levels can be high, but glad to see that the rest of us spin doctors are faring better than lumberjack which came in at the very bottom of the list. Yeah, I won’t be trading in my headset for a saw anytime soon…
For the second year in a row, Washington DC ranks as America’s most literate city according to the annual Central Connecticut State University study.
Atlanta places fourth, San Francisco comes in at number nine, and NYC and LA don’t make the to ten cut, listed in positions 22 and 59(!)…

Taking the Tumblr dive…
So after a few months of wondering what the heck a “Tumblr” is I put in some time and figured out what this microblogging is all about. A few hours later, you have the birth of my Tumblr site, The Mixed Bag (or life is like a bag of Doritos).
For those that care to hear my thoughts, I’ll be sharing photos, quotes, stories and anything else that crosses my twisted mind as I exist.
